Luxury Clubhouse Entertainment & Home Theater System – Gates Mills, Ohio
Xtend Technologies was selected to design and install a fully integrated audio, video, and automation system for a private residential clubhouse located in Gates Mills, Ohio.

- 159” motorized projection screen that disappears when not in use
- 4K laser projector with high-brightness output
- Custom motorized ceiling projector lift for a clean, hidden installation
- McIntosh theater processor and amplification for audiophile performance
- Revel Ultima2 speaker system in a 7-channel surround configuration
- Four THX Ultra2-rated subwoofers for powerful, dynamic bass

When not in use, both the projector and screen retract—preserving the clean aesthetic of the space.

- JBL line array speaker system custom engineered for the space
- Four line array speakers and four high-power subwoofers
- Crown professional amplification
- On-site calibration by a JBL sound engineer

Distributed Video System
The clubhouse was designed with a fully flexible 4K video distribution system.

- Watch any source on any display throughout the space
- Seamless switching between sources
- Expandable architecture for future growth
Available sources include:
• Cable box
• Apple TV
• Roku
• Office HDMI input
This allows the homeowner and guests to:

Bar, Lounge & Multi-Zone Entertainment Areas
Additional areas throughout the clubhouse were designed to extend the entertainment experience.
Bar Area:
- 75” Sony 4K display
- In-ceiling speakers for localized audio
- Infrastructure to support up to 9 displays for future expansion
Office Area:
- 75” Sony 4K display for content viewing and control
Restrooms & Auxiliary Spaces:
- Distributed in-ceiling audio for a consistent experience throughout
These zones ensure the entire space feels connected—whether hosting a large event or enjoying a more private setting.
Integrated Microphone & Event Capabilities
To support events, announcements, and live audio, the system includes:
- Audio-Technica digital wireless microphone system
- Dual handheld microphones with extended coverage
- Digital mixer integrated into the control system
Additionally, multiple audio input wall plates were installed throughout the space for:
- DJs
- Live music
- External audio sources
This allows the space to function as a true multi-purpose entertainment venue.
Smart Automation & Control
The entire system is unified through a custom-programmed ELAN automation platform.
Control options include:
- Mobile app on phones and tablets
- Wall-mounted iPads with magnetic charging stations
- Handheld universal remotes
System control includes:
✔ Audio and video throughout the space
✔ Lighting, shades, and climate (expandable)
✔ Microphone and event audio integration
✔ Source selection and zone control
